The first edition of TOT Manual on Promotion of Barrier Free Environment - “Access for All” (free for circulation) developed by Samarthya in association with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), is available for reference. The contents as far as practicable have been developed in Indian perspective with simple line illustrations, easy to understand format (for laymen as well as professionals) and result oriented case studies with photographs.

- From US Transportation Research Board: THE CURRENT STATE OF TRANSPORTATION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
The National Council on Disability (NCD) has released a report that highlights best practices and successful initiatives that can serve as models for other communities to enhance transportation and mobility for people with disabilities. This report also includes a variety of recommendations for service improvements and for additional research designed to lead to greater options for the 6 million Americans with disabilities who rely on accessible transportation options to live independent and productive lives. The report is designed as a resource for individuals with disabilities, transportation professionals, and lawmakers working to improve access to transportation and mobility for people with disabilities.
